Dave Parry LETS RUN Summer Fell Race Series 2026.So the race series is very much at the sharp end, 11 fell races completed of the 13, the updated teams, individual overall and age group tables will be published I anticipate during the next week or so, taking into account Roseberry Topping and Tripsdale Trot.There are two events remaining, the first on Saturday 12 September Castleton Show a hilly road race you can search out an advance entry link on the North York Moors AC website, facebook won’t allowing a link to be posted until September (or it might if we subscribe) I’ll try to post in a comment.And the grand finale Fryup Frazzler on Sunday 20 September at the Yorkshire Cycle Hub.Volunteers step forward for both please contact the Race Organiser.To be in with a shout at an age group prize you’ll need to complete at least three races in the series. One volunteer bonus points counts towards your total in the overall and age group tables.The endurance awards for consistent participation, no cutoff decided yet so just complete as many races as feasible for you and upto two volunteer attendances count towards the endurance awards.Awards scheduled to be presented at the Lockton Limping Fell Race in late October.Take care and see you out there.
Bilsdale Show Junior Fell RacesResults now available for the Out and Back Under 10s race, and the Hill End Haste Under12 - Under 18's and Fun Run.Thank you to Race Organiser David Sanderson, the Show Committee and our volunteersIn the Out and Back it was Josh Loveridge and Reuben Fellows who could not be separated on the finish line by eye and no photo finish equipment available so joint winners declared. First girl home was Esmay Duddin Individual.The second junior race was the Hill End Haste, first home was Charlie Reynolds U14 Esk Valley Fell Club, and first girl was Eliza U16 Fellows Individual.In the Fun Run category there was another sprint finish, after deliberation by the technical officials it was Catherine Harston FSEN Individual who was declared the winner taking home the Fun Run shield.Terrific running by all the competitors in both races.
