BILSDALE FELL RACE (MEDIUM) - 18.20km/950m 11.5mi/3090'Here are race details for the Bilsdale Fell Race this coming Saturday 4th May 2024.The Bilsdale Fell Race (medium) and last counter of the Dave Parry LETS RUN Winter Fell Race Series 2023_24 starts and finishes at Chop Gate Village Hall. Registration at the Hall will open at 9.00am with the race start at 11.00am. Entry fees £7.00 FRA members £8.00 Non FRA membersCompetitors are required to carry full FRA kit irrespective of weather conditions.Minimum Kit - Waterproof whole body cover (with taped seams and integrated attached hood), hat, gloves, map of the route and compass (Maps must be physical (not electronic) and compasses must be traditional (non-electronic) type. The use of electronic compasses is not permitted), whistle and emergency food.The use of any GPS watch or device (or equivalent) for navigation is strictly forbidden in all FRA races. You can record your race on your electronic device.We are hoping to have the adjacent field for parking. Please follow the marshals directions on arrival.Please can runners gather in the field (not on the road) next to the start for the pre-race briefing at 10.50am.Marshals are requested to report to race organiser Mike Quinn by 10.00am for a pre-event briefing. Cut offs will apply as follows:CP1 Cold Moor will be 45 minutes, runners not making the cut-off will be asked to retrace their steps back to the village hall.
