Junior races licenced by fell runners associationJust a reminder for those with junior runners as family or friends that the Castleton Show hosts 3 junior 'cross country' races on the moorland adjacent to the Showfield - these are registered with the Fell Runners Association.![]()
The three races are - U11, U13, and U19. All ages at end of year. Approximately 670m, 1.2km and 2.4km respectively. All races start as soon as possible after 3pm. Entry on the Showfield, 50p per runner!![]()
Hope to see some more junior runners joining us this year - medals and a packet of sweets to all finishers, even more sweets to the top three, and trophies to the class winners (presented on the Showfield).
One or two of us from Scarborough are coming over to Fryup this Sunday to have a run around the Fryup Frazzler route starting approx 10 30am anyone fancies a trot out please come and join us coffee and cake afterwards in the Cycle hub cafe 🤷
